Corporate Governance
Travelers Canada, through its operating companies The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company (The Dominion) and Travelers Insurance Company of Canada ("Travelers Insurance"), adheres to the highest standards of corporate governance. In addition to requirements imposed by various levels of government, Travelers Canada has a proactive and progressive approach to issues. Corporate governance and strong related practices are a corporate priority for Travelers Canada.
The Boards of Directors of The Dominion and Travelers Insurance are currently comprised of seven directors. In addition, board members may participate in one or more of the following committees: Audit, Conduct Review, and Risk and Compensation. The membership composition of all committees meets relevant statutory and other standards. Committee and board membership are reviewed annually.
