What features are available with TRU Builder™?
TRU Builder is a custom built portal for our builders and developers to enroll new homes, review warranty forms, access builder/homeowner bulletins, and manage all of your warranty needs. Below are some of the key features:
- Create new home registration forms for all unit types and upload plans and other related documents with your registration form.
- Pay premium and other fees online via credit card and view your credit card transaction history.
- Complete your renewal and upload any related documents.
- View all your project specific companies at once.
- Download multiple Schedule D’s at one time.
- Look up information about your company, projects, warranties and claims (if applicable).
- Search for projects, warranties and claims (and export your search results).
- Find forms, bulletins, resources and key contacts.
How do I register for TRU Builder™?

Submit your application - If you are not a Travelers registered builder or developer, we will need to get you set up. Contact a member of our team here.
Login to TRU Builder - Once your application has been approved, you will receive an invitation from TRU Builder to register.

Yes, you can pay by credit card. You can also submit the new home registration form or renewal information online and still pay by cheque.
Yes, you will be able to see which homes are commenced and uncommenced. For the uncommenced homes, you will be able to download a Warranty Commencement Date Certificate (Schedule D) directly from the portal.
Yes, you will be able to pay your renewal fee online. Please click on the pay your fees link on the main dashboard.
TRU Builder is protected by Travelers security firewall. All users must first be invited to register as a user of TRU Builder before access will be considered. Furthermore, all documents housed on and uploaded to TRU Builder are double encrypted.
