COVID-19: Claim Guidance
We’re Here to Help
In light of ongoing concerns related to COVID-19, we are committed to responding to your claim needs with speed, compassion, integrity and professionalism. You can find information about making a claim by visiting our Claim Centre.
The Travelers Claim organization has more than 12,000 employees throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Our traditional business continuity plans, together with virtual tools and technology, enable us to respond rapidly, deploy resources and shift capacity as needed.
Our goal remains unchanged: to provide a claim experience that is as worry-free as possible.
The safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. With that in mind, we are expanding our approach to on-site inspections by offering several virtual options, leveraging our suite of digital tools. We will work with you to choose the one that is most appropriate, based on the type of damage and your individual situation.
- Our virtual inspection tools enable us to effectively “see” damage without physically being on-site.
- Options include real-time video chat and apps that guide you through the process.
- In addition, you can share photos and videos of damage via email with your claim handler.
On-site Inspections When Required
When an on-site inspection is needed, we will take necessary preventive health measures to ensure the safety of customers and employees. If someone in your home/business is at a higher risk of complications associated with COVID-19 or is exhibiting symptoms including a fever and cough, we will work with you to find a suitable virtual inspection option.
