HPO has launched The Residential Construction Performance Guide- this guide is an essential tool for owners of homes with policies of home warranty insurance and Licensed Residential Builders. It helps owners to determine when they should file a warranty claim. The Guide also helps builders to meet or exceed the standard to which their homes will be measured in the event of a claim. The Guide is designed primarily for conventional low-rise, wood-frame homes.

Current Technical Bulletins:

Concrete Driveway Care - Travelers Canada has prepared a bulletin that is meant to assist homeowners in the care of their concrete driveways and walkways.  We would recommend that all builders deliver this bulletin to homeowners, where appropriate in addition to the required maintenance manual. Click Here for more information.

Accepted Rainscreen Details - As of December 15, 2006, the BC Building Code implemented new rainscreen requirements for homes.  Travelers Canada collaborated with other industry professionals to compile a set of Accepted Rainscreen Details for our builders.
